Desktop AI for Mac

Give your Mac assistant the context your phone already has.

Reps Desktop AI lets Codex or Claude Code answer with your real training, sleep and recovery in view, using only what you allow.

brew install sidbmw/reps/reps-mcp

Set up in three steps.

  1. 1

    Install the Mac companion

    Homebrew installs the signed companion.

    brew install sidbmw/reps/reps-mcp
  2. 2

    Connect your assistant

Run the command for Codex or for Claude Code.

    reps-mcp install-codex
    reps-mcp install-claude
  3. 3

    Pair with your iPhone

Start your assistant, then scan the pairing QR code from Reps on your iPhone (Settings, Desktop AI).

What it does.

You choose the categories

Pairing does not grant access. You turn on each category you want to share, and you can revoke one at any time.

Recent training and health snapshots

Your assistant can read bounded, aggregate results such as recent training and the health categories you allowed, plus the current workout if you permit it.

Live workout suggestions you approve

During a workout your assistant can propose a bounded change, such as a rest time or a lighter next set. It arrives in Reps for you to review. Nothing is applied on its own.

A plain privacy note.

Your data goes from your phone to your paired Mac, and nowhere else. Reps servers never receive the health or workout values.

Once your assistant has a result, it is handled under that tool’s own data terms, so read them. Reps does not claim your prompts or its responses stay on your Mac.

Nothing is queued to disk when your Mac is offline, and revoking a category removes it from the Mac’s memory.
