# Should you switch from JEFIT to Reps?

JEFIT and Reps both support iPhone and Apple Watch workouts, but they are built around different source material. JEFIT reasons from the lifting record. Reps connects the workout to Apple Watch recovery and the rest of the training day.

## Stay with JEFIT if…

- Your years of routines, notes, measurements, and workout history are the system you trust.
- You want a planner built from 1,500+ exercises, custom routines, ready-made programs, supersets, timers, and detailed progress charts.
- You want adaptive AI and progressive overload driven by past workout logs, including suggested weights, reps, stimulus volume, and movement balance.
- You rely on JEFIT's muscle recovery view or lifting community.
- You train across Android, Wear OS, iPhone, Apple Watch, and the web.

JEFIT's official Watch page also documents real-time workout sync between phone and watch. Apple Watch support by itself is not a reason to leave.

## Choose Reps if…

- You want the morning decision to start with sleep, resting heart rate, and recent strain.
- You want strength, running, muscle recovery, meals, hydration, and caffeine in the same Apple-first app.
- You want a coach that can discuss the wider health and training context, not only progression from workout history.
- You use iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch and do not need Android, Wear OS, or a web planner.

Reps does not claim JEFIT's 1,500+ exercise-library depth or replace its community. It makes a different trade: more context around each workout.

## The honest migration path

Reps does not automatically import JEFIT routines or workout history today. Keep JEFIT installed as your archive, rebuild only the routines you still use, and let new workouts establish a fresh Reps baseline.

A useful test is to run both for one week. Keep logging in JEFIT while wearing Apple Watch overnight and during training. Then ask which app changed a real decision: the planned session, the next set, the meal, or the rest day.

## Pricing

Both apps are free to start and offer paid upgrades. Plans vary and storefront prices can change, so each App Store is the final source for current pricing and billing terms.
